For some reason Alma Chapter 43 has “arm-shields” (vs. 19) and “armshields” (v. 38). . I don’t see any reason why one should be hyphenated and the other un-hyphenated.

There are eight epistles in the Book of Mormon.
They were written by:
Captain Moroni (2) / Alma 54:5-14 and Alma 60:1-36
Ammoron (brother of Amalickiah) / Alma 54:16-24
Helaman / Alma 56:2-Alma 58:41
Pahoran / Alma 61:2-21
Giddianhi / 3 Nephi 3:2-10
Mormon (2) / Moroni 8:2-30 and Moroni 9:1-26
Note: I want to thank Jeff Lindsay for publishing this information on his website — in an article by Richard Dilworth Rust and Donald W. Parry. I thought of the question and then, being lazy, googled to see if I would find the answer. I found the answer very quickly on this page.
Today’s Book of Mormon trivia question is short and sweet. In the book of Ether, chapter twelve, we are told that the brother of Jared spoke to a mountain and the mountain was “removed” by his faith. What is the name of the mountain?

Off the top of your head, can you come up with the names of ten animals that are mentioned in the Book of Mormon? There are a lot more than that (soon to be revealed, with links). This is just an exercise to see what you might come up with from memory.

I recently became curious about what animals or perhaps what might be described as inhuman creatures were mentioned in the Book of Mormon. There are a number of general words used to describe animals or creatures.
animal/animals (also “wild animals“)
beast/beasts (also “wild beasts“)
fish
flocks
fowl/fowls
game
herds
insects
monster
shepherd/shepherds
As far as more animal names or animal-related terms, I came up with quite a list. I tried to put together those terms that are related or that describe the same kinds of animals. Since there are some unknown, mystical, mythical or angelic beings mentioned, I threw their names in as well.
ass/asses
asp
bats
bear
bee (or honey bee)/bees
bittern
bull/calf/calves/cattle/cow/cows/ox/oxen
chickens/hen
cherubim
cockatrice
cureloms
cumoms
dog/dogs
dove
dragon/dragons
elephants
goat/goats (also “wild goat)
horse/horses
lamb/lambs/sheep/lamb-skin
leopard
lion/lions
moles
moth
owls
roe
sow/swine
satyrs
serpent/serpents
vultures
whale
wolf/wolves
worm/worms
Going through these, it is clear that many times animals are mentioned as a simile or as a comparison, rather than as a mention of the actual creature. Also, many animals/creatures are brought into the Book of Mormon through biblical quotations from Isaiah chapters and the like.
If I missed any animals/creatures in this list, feel free to let me know.
The names Cezoram and Seezoram both show up in the Book of Mormon. As far as I can tell they two names should be pronounced the same way or very similarly. Can you identify who they are? (scroll down to find answers)

Cezoram and Seezoram are Nephite chief judges whose names appear in Helaman. They are mainly notable because they are both assassinated.
Cezoram is killed “by an unknown hand.”
Seezoram is killed by his brother Seantum. Seantum’s fratricide is only discovered by Nehpi’s identification of him as the murderer as well as Nephi’s prophetic prediction of Seantum’s various reactions to repeated accusations.
