Grandpa Hall

My grandfather, Tracy Hall, passed away this morning at about 3am.  He was a wonderful example and influence in my life and he will be missed.  Besides loving him because he is such an important part of our family, we also are proud of him because of his achievements as a notable scientist and inventor.

My sister wrote a blog post that has lots of wonderful pictures and stories about him.

You can read a wikipedia entry about him here.

I’m so sorry, Dan, but I’m glad he had such a wonderful life. Your sister’s post was wonderful. You’re lucky to have had him so long.

Dan, when I read this I did a double-take. Tracy Hall’s son Tracy is married to my aunt Helen, and it took me a moment to realize that you were speaking of his father. I’ve heard Tracy Jr. speak of his father many times, and he will be missed. My condolences.

    Rob G,

I’m glad we’ve been able to figure out this connection. Speaking of which … Aunt Helen is awesome. We love her.
