Plugin Central seems to be taking WordPress users one step closer to tossing out the ftp client for good. It works right out of the dashboard.
Note: it only works with WordPress 2.5.
Now if only there was only something like this for WordPress themes.
I love so many of the things that Google is doing online. Google Search, Google Reader, Google Talk, etc. and etc.
One of my favorite recent discoveries is that Google Documents now supports two right-to-left languages: Hebrew and Arabic. You can read a little bit about that and other Google Docs features here.
We watched Les Choristes (on DVD) and loved it. It’s a French film with English sub-titles.
In online reviews, some compare the movie to “Dead Poet’s Society” or “Mr. Holland’s Opus.” While I can see the logic, that is not a comparison I would use. In my opinion, this is a movie that is unique in many ways and stands on its own.
As usual I don’t really want to discuss the movie but allow potential viewers to find out what they think of it for themselves.
