(I do like Richard III, but they say it's an early work that's not nearly as nuanced as some of the other plays -- it's just, you know, Richard's bad and in the end he gets his just desserts.)</description>

I can't say I ever studied Richard III in high school or even at the university level.  I have no idea why it was excluded.</description>

He's definitely got the Amalickiah thing going on, huh?

I sometimes wish we hadn't spent so much time on Richard III in high school English, since it's not really the best of Shakespeare -- but that makes it sound like I can't study Shakespeare out of school, (oh the shame of it.)</description>
