I’ve been using Bloglines for a long time and I’ve suggested it to others. It works very well. However, yesterday, after chatting with a friend about rss readers, I made a switch over to Google Reader. It was easy to export my Bloglines feeds to Google Reader. It took about a minute and Google Reader even preserved the categories of feeds I had created in the previous program.
I first tried Google Reader when it was introduced and I didn’t think the interface was all that great. Coming back to it now, it’s obvious that many improvements have been made.
Update: Lorelle On WordPress has some interesting information to share about Google Reader and how it is reporting feed subscribers. Also, Lorelle links to this Google Reader blog post that also has useful info.
