Joy Kreves

Yesterday I attempted to visit a group called Americans for Middle East Understanding (AMEU). Their office is located at 475 Riverside Drive in New York City. I didn’t know that the office also happens to be inside a building referred to as the Interchurch Center. On the first floor of this building there was a gallery exhibition titled “Circle Dances” by an artist named Joy Kreves. This artwork grabbed my attention right away because it involved experimentation in hand-drawn ink with line and shapes on both black and white pieces of paper. I don’t have any pictures to show of these works but I liked what I saw. I counted at least twenty hand-drawn ink works. The vast majority of them were priced at $375. There were also ceramic works by the same artist.

Trying to find you! If you saw my “Circle Dances” show and emailed a letter to me, please do so again, since the letter accidentally got deleted from my inbox before I could respond and answer your questions. Thankyou! -Joy Kreves
